From the Ag Information Network, this is today’s Fruit Grower Report. Central Washington University’s Food and Agribusiness program is getting a lot of attention.

One of the students involved is minoring in all three parts of the program, technology, innovation, and management and marketing, is Elena Tucker who says it’s been great for her …

TUCKER … “I’ve been doing my part of trying to make sure everyone understands that this is an awesome program that you should be a part of. It’s definitely grown a lot since I first enrolled in it two years ago. So, I’d love to see it grow and I hope it continues to grow even more.”

The accounting major says it was a perfect fit …

TUCKER … “Central Washington University is probably one of the best schools in the state for me. It has small class sizes. It offers lots of opportunity for you in the agriculture program. It helps you realize that no mater where you go you will find an awesome job in ag and they will you be prepared for it.”

Tucker says the guidance is outstanding …

TUCKER … “Your professors truly do care about your education and your success. And I would not be in this position right now if it weren’t for the amazing program and my professors who really cared about my future and wanted me to succeed.”

TUCKER … “If you want to be involved in something like that and have people who truly care about you and your future and help you get plenty of awesome opportunities, Central Washington University and their ag program are definitely the way to go.”
