I'm Bob Larson. If you are still interested in signing up for the 20-hour class on Farm Financial Management, put on by the Center for Latino Farmers in Yakima, it's not too late. The 4-day class begins tonight and runs through Thursday from 5:00 til 9:00.

The Center's Maria Giedra says this first series of classes will be held at the Oxford Inn Hotel in Yakima ...

GIEDRA ... "We do this class every year and not only do we do it in Yakima, we also do it in the north which is in Wenatchee and Tri Cities. So, people that can't come down here to take the class we'll offer it over there in the north region and also in the Tri Cities."

Giedra says people who need the class have location options ...

GIEDRA ... "To follow, we have Pasco coming up in April and then Wenatchee in June. So, if they keep in touch with the Center, they will know the tentative dates and the locations so they can attend."

Giedra says it's well worth your time and money ...

GIEDRA ... "You know, this is a required class and if anybody's out there listening, if they think they're going to buy a farm or a ranch in the future I recommend that they call me and take this class right now. It is the best investment you can do right now, $100 per farmer to take the class, $150 for a husband and wife. It is a great deal."

If you'd like to take this class, time is short. Call the Center for Latino Farmers today at 509-453-3157 and get signed up.
