Farmers Chose Soy Over Corn

You know, occasionally, farmers like to make money too. Part of coming out ahead, is chosing the right crop to grow and sell.

According to a new study, farmers have made more money on soybeans than corn.

The numbers are pretty clear and Agricultural Economist Gary Schnitkey says, on average, soybeans have been more profitable than corn since 2013.

And Schnitkey says, farmers have responded to the price.

By the way --- the long-term soybean-to-corn ratio, 1972 to present, is better than 2 to 1...
