**The American Dairy Coalition, and the 30,000 producers they represent, applaud President Trump, Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue and U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer for reaching a trade agreement with Mexico.

According to U.S. Dairy Export Council data, Mexico is the No. 1 U.S. cheese export market and the volume and value of the exports has nearly tripled in the last decade.

The American Dairy Coalition looks forward to reaching an agreement with Canada and an updated and fair NAFTA pact.

**Last week's media frenzy over the Environmental Working Group's glyphosate report, which found trace amounts of the herbicide in popular foods like cereal, oatmeal and snack bars, has prompted a renewed focus on FDA testing.

According to agrimarketing.com, results from FDA "preliminary testing" conducted between 2016 and 2017 found no glyphosate residue violations in samples of soy, corn, milk and eggs.

The FDA has expanded glyphosate testing capacity and the results will be included in the 2018 and future reports.

**Soybeans were one of the first major casualties in the escalating U.S.-China tariff war and now Russia is hoping to exploit the situation by offering some 2.5 million acres of arable land to what analysts describe as a bid to replace the U.S. as China's go-to soybean partner.

Chinese officials have said they plan to shave nearly 7 million tons off the roughly 33 million tons they had been buying annually from U.S. farms.
