The Senate will vote on the farm bill conference report this week. The Office of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced he filed cloture on the bill. The cloture vote will be held this evening. As long as 60 Senators vote to end debate - there will be 20 minutes for final debate and closing statements tomorrow afternoon - immediately followed by the vote. If the Senate approves the bill as expected - White House Press Secretary Jay Carney has signaled President Obama will sign it.
