Former conservation chiefs have sent a letter that follows the same principles of the compromise reached by several conservation, environmental, crop insurance and agricultural organizations to link conservation compliance and crop insurance premium assistance. The letter does not - however - endorse the agreement reached by the groups.

One student reported posts including pictures of dead animals and pictures of animals being slaughtered. In another, meat eaters were allegedly called carcass crunchers. The ag students say the other students don’t understand the work they voluntarily put into their animals.

The House announced the creation of the Endangered Species Act (ESA) Working Group. Led by House Natural Resources Committee Chairman Doc Hastings and Western Caucus Co-Chair Cynthia Lummis, the group will examine the ESA and will hold a series of events, forums, and hearings that will invite discussion and input on ways in which the ESA may be working well, how it could be updated, and how to boost its effectiveness.
