This is Bob Larson with the Market Line Report for Thursday, April 19th. Wheat leads the charge on the grain market. From the floor of the CME in Chicago, here's Virginia McGathey.

McGATHEY ... "Wheat was the real player today. It was much higher. It seems that the rain in the southern plains is just not enough to help whatever winter wheat we have and it seems that the drought stress is really making it difficult to get the wheat out of the ground and most farmers and real experts are saying that it's really too late, that even if we do get some decent rain it won't be enough to really revive the crop. And, in some areas, they're saying that it's really looking like the old days of the dust bowl with the high winds and the dry weather it certainly seems that that's what we're looking at right now."
