If you like digging for clams Washington has tentatively set digging dates December second through fifth, hey clam chowder and roasted grouse could be the perfect  Christmas Dinner, it’s been a  great grouse season especially for  Oregon’s forest grouse,  harvest is up 50 percent . And for my  husband and buddies braving the elements to snag a steelhead on the Wenatchee River starting April 1st.  they’ll need to  have an license endorsement for the Columbia and tributaries,  They are $8.75 and they go on the market  December 1st.
