Moms across America and other groups claim that glyphosate is so ubiquitous, it is found in the breast milk of lactating mothers. Not so says Val Giddings, Senior Analyst for Information Technology and Innovation Foundation. "The claims made by Moms across America and everybody else who claims they have been able to find this stuff in mother's milk are without foundation. This is interesting on several levels. Number one what they claim to be there appears not to be and number two, because of the well-known toxicity levels of glycoside, even if they were found at levels substantially higher than the detection levels that are now possible with this validated technology, it wouldn't matter because those levels are safe, they are not toxic and that has been confirmed by the regulatory authorities in Germany but in the United States and regulatory agencies around the world. This study is a detailed and very solid rejection of these alarmist claims by folks who would like to worry about things that are no legitimate cause of worry. Let me be clear. I am a father of two great kids and would never put anything into their diet or expose them to anything that was toxic. There is a cadre of folks who have decided that glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, is the devil's brew and believe it causes all sorts of problems and they are very worried about it. The data support zero of their claims.
