Rob recently attended the Snake River Festival. "We generator revenue, our business is made from shipping grain from as far east as Lewiston, Idaho on the 365 mile inland system as well as ship assist work in the lower river. The Snake River Festival Is a great opportunity for us to showcase what we do which is the tug transport that we have here visiting today and an opportunity to help educate the public on the great value of our river system and personally talk about tugboats and barges and that type of transport." Is there one key message to those who may not know that you would like to deliver on how important this river is to the Pacific Northwest? " Yes. That message is that this is a system. It isn't just a river that barges are on, it isn't just a river that delivers hydro-, this isn't just a river that our iconic salmon live in and are transported in, this is a river for all of us providing transportation jobs, fishing, recreation, irrigation. It provides everything to all of us here in the inland Northwest. This river touches us all.
