The U.S. Drought Monitor’s latest report covering the High Plains says dryness and drought remained far more intense and widespread in Wyoming and especially Colorado. D0 - abnormally dry conditions - expanded through northeastern Colorado and the Nebraska Panhandle, where little precipitation has been observed for the last couple of months.

The USDA says it will release the complete set of tables prepared for the upcoming agency’s Agricultural Projections to 2028 report on February 14th.

The new tables will include projections for farm income, U.S. fruits, nuts, and vegetables supply and use, and global commodity trade.
