House Agriculture Committee Chairman K. Michael Conaway says he's proud of the final Farm Bill legislation.. And hopes the president will sign it by the end of the wee.

It's ad $867-billion dollar measure that will not add to the deficit. He said he's relieved to end some of the anxiety and uncertainty for farmers.

The bill does not add work requirements for food stamps recipients but Conaway says there's other improvements to the program .

The bill legalizes industrial Hemp of interest to Colorado producers Conaway says he believes that will help those producers legally use the banking system.

He says the Market Access Program and the Foreign Marketing Programs permanent

A smaller but significant part of the bill to Colorado pork and livestock producers, establishes a Foot and Mouth Disease Vaccine Bank that will provide block grants to states to combat the deadly disease.
