Colorado Pork Producers are optimistic about 2018 and beyond.

Joyce Kelly Executive Vice President of the Pork Producers Council tells Colorado Ag Today despite low prices, the future in Colorado looks bright.

For one, she says pork is still the most widely consumed protein in the world.

We're very blessed we have a wide variety of hog production in the state."

The Pork Producers Council annual meeting is February 22nd in Denver where the state of pork will be central topic along with news from Colorado's Veterinarian and youth hog programs. Copork.org for information on the meeting.
