Rocky Mountain Food and Safety Conference in Denver

Established in 1972, the Rocky Mountain Food Safety Conference has become the premier food safety event in the region and beyond. The conference brings together professionals from the food industry and the food safety community, providing a unique annual opportunity for updates, networking, and new ideas. Colorado Department of Agriculture Marketing Specialist Wendy White shares more details.

White: 'The Rocky Mountain Food Safety Conference is held every year. This it is May 23-24th at Johnson and Wales University in Denver. It is really designed for anyone interested in food safety issues —- food safety professionals, food service managers, chefs, food processors, students. It is really a great event that highlights the current trends in food safety, changing rules and regulations pertaining to food safety. And we're really excited to have a great program for the two days in May. We have information about the agenda, the speakers, and registrations at rmfoodsafety.org."

For those interested in attending additional workshops there will be three different pre-conference workshops on May 22nd which include a food handlers training, seafood at retail and a food protection manager exam workshop.
