Trivapro Syngenta's Three Mode of Action Fungicide

Trivapro fungcide from Syngenta is a breakthrough for corn growers, offering a longer-lasting control of disease and crop enhancement benefits to maximize yield potential and return on investment. Syngenta Technical Fungicide Lead Eric Tedford shares more details.
Tedford: “We’re really excited to have Trivapro come to the corn market for several reasons. Trivapro is a the combination of three active ingredients that really bring to the market extended long-lasting disease control. Long-lasting disease control because the active ingredient Solatenol that is in the fungicide is actually the most potent of the FDHI fungicides on the market. What that means is that it provides long last residual control. So it last longer into the season protecting the plant from diseases. What we’e seen in this last year is that it was an excellent year for diseases in the sense that was an a abundance of disease that growers could recognize the benefit from with a fungicide. So it was really easy for growers that used Trivapro in their fields last year testing to see the benefits. And by the far the benefits were extremely good in terms of disease control, in terms of yield and quality of corn crop, in terms of the harvestability of improvements in stock quality.”
Tedford adds that that the increase in stock quality helps plants not to lodge not as much which improves harvest efficiency.
