Looking for Seedstock and Commercial Producer of the Year

In an effort to recognize those beef producers in Colorado who are making an difference in the state's beef industry, the Colorado Cattlemen's Association are looking for nominations for both the Seedstock Producer of the Year as well as Commercial Producer of the Year. CCA Director of Communications Paula Waggoner shares more details

Waggoner: "These are two awards that we present each year. Two people who have really stood out and exhibited some innovation and contributed to the enhancement of the state's beef industry. We recognize both a commercial producer and a seed stock producer. Any member or affiliate of Colorado Cattlemen's can nominate someone. You just fill out the application. Those applications are on the CCA website. Nominations are due in to our office by November 1st. Winners are recognized at our Mid-Winter Conference in January. We've got some producers here in Colorado that are just doing some phenomenal work and this is our way of recognizing these individuals.
